Reflection on Khalid Ali's presentation
On Monday Nov 26th 2012 we attended Khalid Ali's presentation in classroom F11 about his trip to Japan.Khalid talked about the idea of the trip came to him when he was studying in Australia and he went to Japan with a friend of his.He talked about his arrival to Norita airport and that he noticed the advanced transport systems and great infrastructural.the first place he visited was called Asakusa,its an old historical place and there is a fountain there that locals say if you drink from it you will stay young for longer.After that Khalid talked about his visit to mount Fuji and tried the food in the area in addition to showing us a famous suicide spot that many Japanese choose to end their lives there.After that in mount Fuji was a place where people cook eggs in volcano steams and they believe that it gives them better health.Later Khalid told us about area called Hacone that has hot springs people go to have a swim that known to relief from stress and some of the pools had red wine mixed with water in it,but the trick was are you willing to get naked to swim there?of course Khalid did.After that they visited Hiroshima city and the museum there that tells every thing about the nuclear bombing. Finally Khalid talked about Japan and how its like UAE in having modern culture while preserving its traditions and that Japan had many great natural scenes and diversity and that Japan was not like any other place he visited.
